New Brick Breaking Record!
Well Done to Kyoshi Tim Thompson on breaking Twelve (12) stacked Large Red Bricks with
an downward Elbow Strike at 1400 (2 PM) on Sunday 2 August 2009 at the Ryoshin-Kan Karate School in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
This is a new Ryoshin-Kan Brick Breaking Record.
NOTE: Sensei Thompson also set the Ryoshin-Kan Record for Concrete Block breaking when
he broke the 10 stacked Concrete Patio Blocks with an elbow strike back on 8/31 /2008.

Well Done to Sensei Thompson on breaking 10 stacked Concrete patio blocks with an downward
Elbow Strike at 1830 (6:30 PM) on Sunday 31 August 2008 at the Ryoshin-Kan Karate School in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
This is a new Ryoshin-Kan Breaking Record for Concrete Blocks.
NOTE: Sensei Thompson also set the Ryoshin-Kan Record for brick breaking when he broke
the 10 stacked large red bricks with an elbow strike back on 11/22 /2007. He recently broke 10 Large Bricks again
on 2 November 2008. (See Photo)

I:) Great Dragon Force Karate Show: Congratulations
to the Dragon Force National Karate Demo Team and Karate Camp Kids on an Awesome performance during the Dragon Force Karate
Show at the Childtime Event in Virginia Beach, VA on 7 August 2014. All Routines looked Sharp especially all the New Karate
stunts and Board Breaks. "Dragon Force Demo Team & Karate Camp Kids Rocked this Karate Show!" Well Done
II:) Great OMAA Awards Banquet / Pennsylvania Trip:
Congrats to the Dragon Force National Karate Demo Team, Ryoshin-Kan Black Belts & Parents on an Awesome Performance at
the OMAA Karate Awards Banquet in Allentown, Pennsylvania area on 23 August 2014. Dragon Force Rocked the OMAA Awards Banquet
with an Awesome Demo. Grand Master Dale Stengele (Director of OMAA) Awarded the Dragon Force Demo Team the “National
Karate Demo Team of the Year” 6 Ft Trophy & Smaller Trophies to each Team Member. Sensei Thompson was awarded “Master
of the Year.” Dragon Force also did a cool photo shoot & performed Small Demos in the Historic district of Bethlehem,
PA during the Afternoon on 23 August. Sensei Thompson & his Students also performed amazing Nunchaku Throws / Catches
in Virginia, Pennsylvania, Maryland & Delaware, including over the Monocacy Creek (Lehigh River) during this Trip and
documented it thru video.

Dragon Force Demo Team from Ryoshin-Kan Karate School performed the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge Demo Team Style, short routine
& 7 Stacked Brick Break on 31 Aug 2014. We were Challenge by many including Alex Thomasson (Youth Brown Belt). We Challenge
All Parents / Students from Ryoshin-Kan Karate School, Kyoshi Montez Dennis & Staff from World Fall Classic Martial Arts
Championships & All My BRs from VMI Class of 1977. OohYa!
IV:) Great Karate Summer Camp 2014: Congrats
on a Great Karate Summer Camp at Ryoshin-Kan Karate School 16 June to 29 August 2014 (11 Weeks). We did Karate Training, Black
Belt Testing, Kyu Belt Testing, Xtreme Martial Arts, Karate Shows, Birthday Celebrations, Movie Trips, Martial Arts Special
Training, Self-Defense, Field Trips, Virginia Zoo Trips, Pool Party, Virginia Aquarium, Light Rail Train Ride, General MacArthur
Museum tour, Military Aviation Museum tour, Brick / Board Breaking Demos and Awesome Talent Show Contest. We Set a New Record
with 125 Participants. Well done and Thank you to all Students, Parents, Camp Assistants, Helpers for your support.
V:) Breaking Clinics & Demos: Well done

I:) 2014 East Coast Karate Champions: Congratulations
and Well Done to the Ryoshin-Kan Karate School's "Team Dragon Force" on an outstanding performance and Impressive Victory
at the 2014 East Coast Martial Arts Championships / Tidewater Challenge that was conducted at Bethel High School in Hampton,
Virginia on 6 April 2014. We had a total of 35 Folks from Ryoshin-Kan Karate School, Competitors and Parents / Relatives,
that represented our Dojo to the highest level. Team Dragon Force had 15 competitors who won a total of 38 Trophies including
14 First Place. The Dragon Force / Ryoshin-Kan Karate Team did outstanding in all Divisions. All of you are Karate Champions!
Well Done to Sensei Tim Thompson, Michael Milliman, Patrick Johnston, Keegan Grinspoon, Kai Loree, Chris Altman, Dayjha Armstrong,
Quinn Barson, Ellen Honeycutt, Trent McGarrigle, Kai Cheek, Noah Caldon, Jaclyn Nolen, Alondra Duenas and Alejandro Duenas.
***Dragon Force National Karate Demo Team Rocked the Tournament with an Awesome Demo routine that won us the 1st Place Team
Demo Trophy.
II:) Great Spring Break Karate Camp 2014:
Congrats to all Participants of the Spring Break Karate Camp that was conducted 14 to 18 April 2014 at the Ryoshin-Kan Karate
School. We did Karate Training, Basic to Advance Tumbling / Acrobatics, Nunchaku / Bo Training, Maze Game, Runway Showdown,
Ball Toss, Kidz Cove, Ci Ci Pizza, Capt America: The Winter Soldier” movie trip, Plus an Awesome Talent Show Contest
& Brick / Board Breaking demo. All participants received a custom Karate medal & Toy at the Award ceremony on Friday.
Special Thank you to Chris Altman, Patrick Johnston, Kai Cheek, Jaclyn Nolen, Logan Maguder, Trent McGarrigle, Mrs Lourie
Altman & Mrs Hye Cha Thompson for helping at Spring Break Karate Camp 2014. Well Done to all Participants.
III:) Congrats to Alex Thomasson on Brown Belt promotion:
Congratulations to Alex Thomasson on his promotion to Junior Brown Belt (3rd Kyu) on 8 May 2014. He did very well on his test.

IV:) Great Strawberry Festival Parade & Karate
Show 2014: Congratulations to all Ryoshin-Kan Karate School Participants on an Awesome performance at the Strawberry
Festival Parade and Dragon Force Karate Show that was conducted in the Pungo area of Virginia Beach, Virginia on 24 &
25 May 2014. This was our 27th Year in a row of Performing at this Festival.
* Parade Results: We were awarded 4 Participation coaster
Plaques at the Strawberry Festival Parade 24 May 2014. We had 56 total Students, Parents & Friends in our Parade unit.
Our Float Team consisted of a decorated Giant Deuce and Half Military Truck filled with Students and Parents. It was a huge
success. Special Thank you to Allen Loree's Family for providing the Deuce and Half Truck. Marching in Front of Our float
were the Banner Team, Honor Guard, Color Guard, Drum Corps and Board Breaking Team. Well Done!

Ryoshin-Kan / Team Dragon Force including 12 competitors who won a total of 18 Trophies including four First Place in Team
Demo, Weapons, Kata and Sparring.

Contest.” Sensei Thompson was Officially notified of the victory on 9 June 2014. We had the most votes out of 75 plus
Nationally Sports / Dance / Cheer Teams etc…Thank You All for the Great support. Best of the Best.

Karate Runway Showdowns, Classes, Practices, Demos & Tournaments: Congrats to all Ryoshin-Kan Students on Awesome performances in Karate classes, Kyu Belt Testing,
Demo Team Practices, Karate Shows, Tournaments & at the Friday nights Karate Runway Showdowns during the months
of January, February and March 2014. The last couple of Karate Runway Showdowns had 82 plus Participants that rocked
the Dojo. Wow! I am proud of each and everyone of you. The Dragon Force National Karate Demo Team has been training
hard and looking sharp in practices, shows and tournaments. Demo Team had a great &
fun practice on top of Snow Mountain (Mountains of Snow in the parking lot made by snow plows.)on 26 January 2014.

at the 2014 Beach Blast Open National Martial Arts Championships that were conducted at the Norfolk Waterside Marriott
in Norfolk, Virginia on 14 & 15 February 2014.
We had
75 plus Folks from Ryoshin-Kan Karate School, both Competitors and Parents / Relatives, that represented our Dojo to the highest
level. Team Dragon Force had 21 competitors who won a total of 35 Trophies including Team Demo Grand Champion, Team
Weapons Grand Champion, Junior Black Belt Sparring Grand Champion, 6 Grand Champion Runner-up’s and 12 First Place.
The Dragon Force / Ryoshin-Kan Karate Team did outstanding in all Divisions. All of you are Karate
